Join us on select Sunday mornings as we roll our sleeves and care for WNYC Transmitter Park’s gardens and trees! We’ll be weeding, watering, mulching, and planting to keep our green space thriving. Special programming with Rosemarie Miner of Our Temenos as we focus on drought tolerant plants in the garden, and how to retain moisture during extended summer heat.
What to Bring: Gardening gloves (if you have them), a hat, sunscreen, and water. Don’t worry if you don’t have gloves—we’ve got extras!
What to Expect: A morning of hands-on work, meeting neighbors and volunteers from across the city, and making a real impact in the park.
Where to Meet: Just inside the Greenpoint Ave entrance.
