Bill Schmidt is a certified arborist and has been a forester for the City of New York for over 10 years, during his career he’s planted thousands of trees in all five boroughs. He’s currently working on the Greening Greenpoint project to plant and steward trees in the Greenpoint neighborhood

Maya Robinson is a clinical herbalist and energy worker who grew up in Japan. She is the owner of Rooted Things Apothecary, providing herbal consultation and high quality artisanal flower waters, as well as Co-Founder of Plant-Matters, a digital publication about all things plants.
