Calling local gardening volunteers and students of nature! Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park will be holding a weeding workshop to get a section of the Kent Street garden ready for a major planting. Local gardening expert Damion Lawyer will guide us through the process lending his knowledge about soil preparation and the social ecosystems. Support generously provided by Citizens Committee for New York City and Partnership for Parks. Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn is our organization partner.

Meet on the esplanade near the Willow tree, and prepare to get dirty! Tools & refreshments will be provided.
