Stargazing at Transmitter Park

Members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York return to Transmitter. They will provide telescopes to view celestial objects in the night sky on the Transmitter Park pier. Join us in this free tour of the world beyond the nocturnal skyline. Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and the Moon are possible sightings. We will be stationed at the entrance to the East River pier.

Each year on a specific night, all the people of Earth are invited to observe and learn about the Moon together. In Greenpoint FTP welcomes the Amateur Astronomers Association who will set up telescopes on the Transmitter Pier for lunar observation.
